Cleveland Porcelain Veneers:Porcelain veneers are thin wafers of porcelain that are applied to the fronts of your teeth to give you a new smile. They mimic tooth enamel so perfectly, that it can be impossible for someone to tell that anything has been done to your teeth. And using them, your teeth can be shaped and colored however you want them. | |
| Here is a photo of porcelain veneers placed by Dr. Goldstein. In addition to the beautiful shape and color, notice the perfect workmanship. |

When porcelain veneers are done correctly, it makes it impossible to
tell where the veneer ends and the tooth
begins. Also notice, in the photo above, the perfectly healthy pink of the gums. This is
supreme craftsmanship. It is very important for the margin between
the tooth and the veneer to be perfectly smooth, so that nothing
will attract plaque and that ordinary home care can keep everything
clean. Gums that are dark red and puffy are an indication that the
porcelain veneers may be poorly shaped near the gums or have gaps or overhangs under the gum.

Besides craftsmanship, it also requires an artistic touch to do beautiful porcelain veneers. Dr. Goldstein has that artistic touch. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where he has received extensive training in this procedure. |

Porcelain veneer procedure:Since these restorations are so thin, sometimes no tooth preparation is necessary. When it is necessary, only a small amount of enamel is shaved from the front of the tooth - maybe two-one-hundredths of an inch. Indications for porcelain veneers.
