There are several possible solutions to discolored teeth:
Porcelain veneers will cover over discolored teeth
with a thin veneer of wafer-thin ceramic. When done by a dental artist like Dr. Goldstein, they always produce a
beautiful result.
Tooth whitening, however, is all you need if you
like the shapes and alignment of your teeth, and the discoloration
isn't too severe. Tetracycline stains, for example, are very dark
and very stubborn to try to remove with whitening alone. There are
two types of tooth whitening that we offer:
Zoom whitening
is the fastest and most convenient form of tooth whitening. We do all the work for you in our
office. In about two hours, your teeth will be dramatically
whiter.
If you like to do things yourself, we can provide
you the tools and materials for at-home
tooth whitening.
Lumineers are a
brand of porcelain veneers that are a little thinner than other types
of porcelain. They can be an answer for tooth discoloration problems.
