Missing Teeth:
If you have missing teeth, there are several excellent options for replacing your teeth:
 |
Dental implants - This is usually the best option
for replacing missing teeth. A root form is implanted in your jaw,
and a crown is placed over it. This looks and acts just like a
natural tooth, so it is the most comfortable choice. And, unlike a
bridge, the teeth on either side don't have to be ground down for
crowns. |
 |
A dental bridge - This option is the traditional
way to replace a single tooth. If the teeth on either side of the
missing tooth have large fillings or need crowns, this can be the
simplest way. |
 |
Complete dentures and partial dentures - These are
more economical ways to replace missing teeth. A complete denture,
however, can be made much more stable if it is anchored by a
dental implant. |
